If the scanner is not detected on the devices nor on the Device manager then the issue is with the printer. Ask assistance from the scanner manufacturer on installing the driver for your device.

It found the MT as a source and it worked. Now it only finds the HP printer's scanner. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.

I have the same question Tim Flanigan. I am absolutely in love with this software! Thanks to VueScan, it back online and working better than ever. It is so efficient and easy to use that I'm looking forward to scanning several thousand slides that have been stored away and unusable. My scanner now works so much better than it did originally that I am incredulous.

Got new computers with new operating systems, forgot about VueScan. I got a new Epson scanner - old one doesn't have Win10 drivers. I remembered VueScan. Wow, a purchase made in , works on a PC with an operating system that doesn't exist in And that for a very small amount of money.

Vuescan Professional saved me from having to buy a new scanner when Mac Catalina no longer supported my current scanner. Much less expensive than buying a new scanner, easy to use and great quality.
